Feeling a little better, if very lazy.
But with some encouragement from TechMan we went for a bike ride and did some errands.
We biked 5.7 miles.
That makes 18.1 miles biked, 2 miles walked, plus some short walks that I didn't count (mostly because I forgot what route we took), and pushups 3 or 4 times this week (two days were in the morning and evening).
Not to shabby for my first real week back in workout mode.
I'm having trouble eating enough though. I'm trying to make sure I eat breakfast, 2-3 snacks, lunch, and dinner each day.
But half the time I skip snacks and end up over eating at dinner. So that's something I need to work on.
I need to get to the store and get more veggies and fruits when the first of the month roles around.

Great job on the biking. I just LOVE biking (of course you can tell if you read just one of my blog posts). :)
I think the main reason I like it so much is that it is a cool (wind rushing past my face) exercise. I do get hot and sweaty but it somehow seems okay when there's a breeze blowing.
I burn lots of calories for biking, too. I can bike for an hour and burn 800 calories. I walk for an hour and I'll only burn maybe 200-300.
Snacking is my biggest downfall, too. Well, that and not drinking enough water. I should add those two things to my list of challenge goals. Blueberries and watermelons are in season now so they're on sale, which I LOVE. So maybe try getting some of those if you like them. They're both very healthy for you.
Wow! Nice job with all the biking. I need to get a bike. :)
I have trouble with skipping eating during the day and overeating at night as well. Same with my husband. We've both been working on having breakfast and eating lunch, though, so we get out of the habit.
